AI Sentri
    Control Layer · AI Governance

AI governance you can evidence, not just describe.

Define ownership, apply controls, and manage AI risk with confidence.

AI without governance creates risk. AI Sentri gives you a structured approach to ownership, controls, and oversight so you can manage AI safely and effectively.

    Governance isn't optional

Define ownership, apply controls, and ensure every AI system is properly managed.

AI Sentri is an aid, not an assurance. It helps you structure your thinking, record what you have done and see where the gaps are. It does not make you compliant, and nothing it produces is legal advice or a regulatory opinion. Scores are indicative. Responsibility for compliance stays with your organisation, and decisions with legal consequences should be taken with a qualified adviser.

    Questions about AI governance

What does AI governance actually involve?

Knowing which AI systems you run, deciding who is accountable for each, setting controls proportionate to the risk, and being able to evidence all three. In practice that means an inventory, named owners, approval and oversight steps, a risk register, incident logging, and policies people can actually find. AI Sentri holds all of it against the same set of systems, so the parts stay connected.

How is this different from our existing GRC platform?

General GRC platforms were not built for AI-specific obligations: risk classification under the EU AI Act, model drift, human oversight, kill-switches, shadow AI, or per-system DPIA status. AI Sentri covers that layer specifically and exports evidence into the GRC process you already run, rather than asking you to replace it.

How is the governance score calculated?

From the evidence each system actually carries — legal basis, DPIA, human oversight, bias and drift controls, kill-switch and security posture — rather than from a self-assessment questionnaire. Some controls are hard-fail and cap the score regardless of everything else, so a system missing something fundamental cannot look healthy because it scores well elsewhere.

Who needs to be involved to make this work?

Less than most organisations expect. One person can build the initial inventory; system owners fill in the detail for what they run; and the governance committee reviews the scores. AI Sentri assigns tasks to named owners with target dates, so the work is distributed rather than landing on whoever set the tool up.

What does a kill-switch mean in this context?

A documented, tested way to stop an AI system quickly if it starts behaving in a way you cannot accept. It matters more than it sounds: it is one of the first things asked about after an incident, and one of the least likely to exist. AI Sentri records whether one exists per system and treats its absence as a material gap.
